in the field

tiny clouds
dance in dying grass
next year's pods

bright berries
asparagus field
all dressed up

pine needles
form post modern art
walk on it

rows of drooping heads
sunflower skeletons stand
proud abandoned bones

What a field day!:) About the last one: I wonder what keeps the poor sunflowers in a standing position...? Pride!?:)

It was 3 years ago they were beautiful flowers, and have bravely stood the turning seasons. I wonder too:-)

Ah... I like the tiny clouds and their wispy dance. Spring... begins in the fall. _m
