break out

everywhere I turn
the Universe is teaching
therefore I must learn!

explosions of light
rearrange the molecules
is it really changed?

one minute soaring
then stumbling towards despair
take off those high heels

Learn...
to live and die
every moment

"explosions of light
rearrange the molecules
is it really changed?"

this is pure science...
if its physical or chemical -- they may or may not change re

if its metaphysics -- things seldom change, really....

or do I need to explore -- still learning it all! :)

"one minute soaring
then stumbling towards despair
take off those high heels"

wears flats...we have the Kolhapuris ...flat sandals made out of the bark of trees...I use those regularly...they come with slight heels too...thats my party wear...for that elegance of standing straight, not tall though :)

just blabbering Janet...in a mood to :)

nice set,

Devika- I think the irony is that change is happening constantly, but at the same time it is so difficult to consciously and deliberately change ourselves. For me, that's where the learning must come:-)

I'm interested in your sandals. Off to search for a photo now.

Thanks for the blabbering:-)

ha! your interest in the snadals made me search for info on it online....and the link says its made of processed leather...But the shop keeper had told me the other way...and its texture look like wood...thanks for that :)

info is here, Janet

And then:

it is so difficult to consciously and deliberately change ourselves....

I don't bother about it...change -- i haven't seen an innate change happening in my nature since i started observing myself since my teenage...But then, thinking has changed...influenced by many factors,

I don't think i need to 'learn' to change myself or others..really so....but sometimes when i talk too much i feel i need to stop doing that :)

vid -- My ISP is a slow service most take so much time...will do that, sometime :)

Ha! I laugh at the thought of how much energy many people (including me sometimes)spend trying to change others!!

From my observation, the natural tendency of humans is to move towards the lowest common denominator, unless effort is expended to stay conscious. But that might be my cynicism.

Cynicism or otherwise...your viewpoint is always interesting, Janet :)

change others -- has anyone changed for 'good'? -- (here, I meant what you thought was 'good'...good and bad being relative/subjective)

just curious to know...i have seen many trying the same...but seldom have seen a real change :)

I'm trying to shed some of the good vs bad comparisons...and let things be simply information. Not saying I can always do this mind you:-)

That being said...I have seen people make positive lasting change- heck, I've even done it myself. But I haven't found it "just sorta happens".

Regarding the "high heels"- that was a reference to the illusion of holding oneself above others and therefore likely to take a tumble.

:-)

why should i mind anything Janet...all is fine with me :)

I am not after change as much as change is after me....so it might just happen in my case! :)

and high heels -- i know, but for people who can laugh at themselves without a thought..tumbling is fun!
But then with a certain degree of practice one doesn't fall too often, i guess....almost all women i see these days are so graceful in their high heels :)

Oh yes...you said holding oneself higher above others....there's always a higher high-heels around :)

and then, it doesn't depend on the shoes you wear or the food we eat, i guess -- Most of those enlightened souls never wore a chappal...

"I am not after change as much as change is after me" I LOVE this:-)

Heels are bad for the legs...habitual wear will eventually shorten the calf muscles, so that grace you observe might be temporary.

I'm enjoying our conversation Devika:-)
